PAINTINGS TAKE ON NEW LIFE
Stína Sigga paints mostly with acrylic and is not afraid to use bold and bright colors. She then enjoys her paintings in various ways, but her handmade cushions have been very successful.
Strong characters adorn the cushions and some of the cushions accompany poems.

I fell in love with painting quite late in life, but I have hardly put the brush down after the goddess of art called me.
I have worked with both charcoal and watercolor, but today acrylic is on my mind. My home in Borgarfjörður is my studio. There I find peace and quiet and seek inspiration from the wonderful nature all around.
