Shadow / Acrylic on canvas. Size; 60×60 cm.
In a dark forest lived a raven named Shadow. He flew high, looking down at the ground with his sharp eyes, observing everything that happened. On one such flight, he saw the young Indian girl, Nayu, sitting by the riverbank, longing for the guidance of the world.
Naya had a strong connection to nature and was searching for something greater and more. She knew that ravens were a sign of wisdom. Her grandmother had spoken of how the raven was a messenger between worlds, a seer and had prophetic powers.
Suddenly she noticed Shadow as he flew around her.
"What do you want, Shadow?" Naya asked in a calm voice.
The raven flew closer and sat on a tree next to her. He replied to Nayu, "I know you know nature and are looking for something greater. A secret that you can only find in the heart of nature."
Naya noticed that Shadow took off, taking a specific direction as if he were going to show her the way. Before she knew it, she had followed him up the mountain that overlooked the valley.
At the top, she immediately sensed for the first time how nature was intertwined with all beings. She felt this special power there.
"What you have sought Naya, is nothing more than the magic and wisdom of nature. Take this with you and share it with your people," said Shadow before flying back into the sky.
From then on, Naya connected with nature in a new way, full of wisdom and role models that she shared with others who were on her path. – Krrúúú, krrúúú END
